Peregrine Achieves ISO 27001 Information Security Certification
Peregrine Immigration Management Ltd, is proud to announce that we have achieved certification to the internationally recognised ISO 27001 standard for information security management, demonstrating our firm commitment to client data security and confidentiality.
The scope of Peregrine’s certification relates to the development, maintenance and provision of the Immiguru immigration knowledge database and the Immigo case management software for external licensees and for staff of sister company Newland Chase.
What Is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is designed to help establish and maintain an effective information management system, using a continual improvement approach. The standard lists specific management processes that must be in place to control risks to information systems.
To become certified, a company must implement over 100 mandated controls and undergo a formal audit that confirms that they are compliant with the requirements set forth by the standard.
Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are audited annually to ensure progress is being maintained.
The British Assessment Bureau, Peregrine's ISO certification auditors, comment:
"ISO 27001, developed as a best practice standard by experts and target users, enables organisations to formalise and verify that risks are properly identified and managed. More importantly, it demonstrates to clients and stakeholders that their information is taken seriously."
What Does This Mean For You?
Our ISO 27001 certification achievement underlines our commitment to the security of our clients’ data and the reliability of our software and systems. Our clients, and Newland Chase's clients, can rest assured that their data is safe.
